UniLUG (n): Meta-project (group) to build links between LUGs and promote common causes.

UniLUG is a support organization and to an extent a social organization, and a public relations organization. The most important thing you can do is support your local Linux User Groups and Free Software Groups. If you still have time to spare, UniLUG can certainly use your help.
UniLUG sponsored events will need volunteers to help run these events. The best example of this would be the UniLUG booth at the upcoming LinuxWorld Expo 2002 in Manhattan NY. Volunteers will also be needed to help maintain this Web site, and the Web sites of UniLUG sponsored projects such as installfest.org.
